WOC Board

The Outing Club Board is a group of students who have extensive experience in various outdoor activities and want to share their love of the outdoors with others by volunteering their time in helping to coordinate all of WOC's activities and projects. Board members are present at weekly meetings and are involved in coordinating WOC activities from trips and PE classes to special events such as Mountain Day and Winter Carnival. The board is also responsible for overseeing the administrative side of WOC and managing the club's annual budget of roughly $22k.

New board members are selected each spring through an application and interview process conducted by the graduating seniors. Board members typically take on a leadership role in some aspect of the club's operation, such as managing the equipment room or training new mountain guides. All WOC members are strongly encouraged to apply - watch this space or subscribe to the outing-news listserv for information on the application process.
