WOC WINTER STUDY SIGN-UP!

MONDAY, January 5 at  6:00pm-8:30pm, Lasell Gym:

Sign up for alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing, nordic skiing, AND snowshoeing! 1 PE credit will be given for successfully completing three – 3hr classes in the same activity.

A great opportunity for fun and expert instruction provided by Williams students, faculty and staff.

BUSSES DEPART CAMPUS behind Chapin – Mission park dr.
1PM MONDAY – FRIDAY AND RETURN to campus approximately at 5PM.

 

To participate in any WOC class activity OR purchase the J-term Jiminy pass you must:

1) Be a current WOC member ($10 student/$15 faculty and staff)*

2) Downhill ski, Telemark, and Snowboard pay the required program fee ($20)

3) Pay fees associated with your specific course (ie. lift tickets for Jiminy peak)

4) Sign-up for your day of interest

5) Anyone wanting to just use our bus transport must be a current WOC member and pay a one time $20 program fee.

*Please bring a current WOC member card to the sign up.  If you need, you can purchase a new one for this academic year at the sign up.

For alpine skiing, snowboarding, and telemark skiing we will be at Jiminy Peak. Lift tickets and rental passes will be for sale at the prices listed below during SIGN UP ONLY! We also encourage people to rent or purchase ski helmets.

Lift ticket options:

1) 3-day  punch card: $59.00

2) Mon-Friday afternoon January Pass: $99

3) Full time student ‘ski anytime” Season Pass: $299 (can be purchased any time directly at Jiminy – bring your Williams College ID to the ticket window)

Rental options with Lift Pass:

1)   Ski/board rental & pass $99/ 3 times

2)   Ski/board rental & pass $189 entire winter study during weekday afternoons

3)   helmet rental $18/3 times OR $44/entire winter study during weekdays

 

For Nordic lessons classes may be going to Prospect Mountain.  There will be a charge of $10/class at Prospect to be paid at the ski area at class time.
