How do I become a member?
Beginning in the 2022-23 school year, all students are automatically members of WOC. All you have to do is sign up for our listserv to know what WOC is up to every week and to sign up for events.
Faculty and staff memberships can be purchased HERE. Membership costs are $15 for faculty and staff or $25 for faculty and staff and their spouse or partner. Memberships are good for the entire academic year in which they are purchased. With a membership, you can borrow gear from our equipment room and use our climbing facilities.
To get to the equipment room: walk past the mailroom and you should find a door on your right that is labeled as the stairwell to the WOC equipment room and it leads downstairs! Regular hours are M-Th 12:30 -1:30 and 12 -2 on Friday. Any questions? Email [email protected].
What do WOC members receive?
- Access to equipment from the WOC Equipment Room.
- The ability to take part in WOC-sponsored activities such as PE classes or extended backpacking/climbing trips (membership is not required to take part in local trips and activities such as sunrise hikes, polar bear swims, or Stone Hill campouts).
- Discounted student ski passes to Jiminy Peak.
