Equipment Suggestions: For All Trips

The following is a suggested list of items you may want on any extended camping trip taking place during the Spring, Summer, or Fall months in the Northeast for a group of 12.

* 2 Stoves (tested before heading out)
* 3 Fuel Bottles
* 2 Pots with lids
* Fry Pan with lid (depending on menu choice)
* Utensils (spoons, spatula)
* Pair of gloves (for handling hot pots)
* Pot gripper or pliers
* Matches (in waterproof container) and/or lighter
* Can opener
* Screen (for capturing food particles when cleaning)
* Scrubbies
* 2 Waterbags
* Bear rope (or 2 if needed) — carabiners are helpful!
* Seasoning Kit
* Trash bags
* Tarps (with cord, twine) or Tents
* Water Purification (Polar Pur, Potable Aqua, Water Filter..)
* Trowel
* Toilet Paper (in waterproof bag)
* Aluminum Foil / Ziplocks (for tampons)

Canoe Trips: Additional Equipment You Might Need

* Paddles, Lifejackets, Canoes (bring extra paddle and lifejacket)
* Throw Bag (or 2) (for white water)
* Large Water Containers
* Propane Stove (2 burner), with propane fuel (if you want it)
* Coolers to store food
* Dry bags and/or Duluth packs for personal use, as well as group equipment
* Dry bag for first aid kit
* Straps for securing equipment in canoes
